We lost a legend “Lauren Bacall” 1924-2014

The hollywood icon died Tuesday in her home in New York.  She was 89.

Lauren Bacall, born Betty Joan Perske, nicknamed  “The Look”, a tall blonde sultry-voiced actress that achieved immediate fame in her 1944 movie with Humphrey Bogart, “To Have and Have Not.”

Her famous line after kissing Bogart twice and telling him if he is interested in continuing…
"You don't have to say anything, and you don't have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and blow."

They were married in 1945 and remained together until his death in 1957.

I have no doubt that the chemistry between Bogie and Bacall is blossoming again.
